Accounting Suite
Real double-entry books, posted from the same sales your cashiers ring up.
On the Business and Enterprise plans, Retail POS Hub carries a genuine double-entry accounting layer. Sales, purchases, payments and expenses post automatically — you manage the framework rather than re-keying the shop's day into a second system.
The chart of accounts ships with a sensible default tree you can extend or rename. Business mappings decide which accounts each event posts to: sales revenue, tax payable, inventory, cost of goods, cash or bank per payment method. The journal shows every posting and takes manual entries for accruals and corrections. Opening balances make the statements correct from your go-live date, and fiscal periods can be closed to lock history against later edits.
The statements themselves — trial balance, general ledger, profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow and aged receivables — live with the rest of the reports, saveable with their filters and schedulable by email.
Key Benefits
Sales, purchases, payments and expenses post automatically
A chart of accounts you control, with a working default
Business mappings decide where each event posts
Manual journal entries for accruals and corrections
Opening balances so statements are right from day one
Fiscal periods you can close to lock history
Use Cases
Month end
Close the period, pull the trial balance and the profit and loss, and hand your accountant numbers that came from the till rather than from a re-typed spreadsheet.
Migrating mid-year
Enter opening balances as of your go-live date so the balance sheet is correct from the first day, not from next January.
Chasing receivables
Aged receivables shows which on-account customers are overdue and by how long, straight from the sales the cashiers took.
