Scheduling & Campaigns

From "always on" to "weekdays 09:00–18:00 except holidays" — one ladder, no formula grid.

A campaign is a playlist, a target and a set of time rules. The target can be one screen, a device group or an entire location. The time rules climb a ladder, and each rung only shows its own complexity.

Start with always and there is no further interface at all. Add a date range and you get two date fields. Add a weekly pattern and you get weekday chips with a time window. Only at the top do you get the full rule, written as a sentence rather than a grid of dropdowns: show on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday between 09:00 and 18:00, except holidays.

Priorities decide what wins when campaigns overlap, an emergency override puts one message on every screen immediately, and each device has a fallback so a screen is never blank.

)}

Use Cases

Breakfast, lunch, dinner

Three menu playlists on three time windows. The board switches itself; nobody walks over at eleven o'clock.

Chain promotion

The national campaign targets every location at a higher priority for two weeks, and each branch's own content resumes underneath when it ends.

Closed for a public holiday

The holiday exception keeps the opening-hours slide honest without anyone remembering to change it.
