Projects carry a customer, a budget, a period, a status and milestones. Tasks hang off milestones and progress follows from them. Project files, discussions, notes and activity all live on the project.
Time is recorded with a timer or entered afterwards, per task and per person. Timesheets become invoice lines, so the hour worked and the hour billed are the same number.
Milestones
Progress that follows from the work
Tasks hang off milestones, and project progress is calculated from them rather than estimated.
Task management
Kanban and Gantt on the same tasks
Tasks in a Kanban view and a Gantt view, with checklists and checklist templates, attachments, comments, followers and time tracking on the task itself.
Checklist templates
The same steps, every time
Checklist templates apply a standard set of steps to a task, so recurring work is not re-typed and nothing is forgotten.
Time tracking and timesheets
Start the timer, or enter it later
Start and stop a timer, or add time afterwards — per task and per person. Timesheets follow from it, and from those come invoice lines.
Hourly rates
Per person, per project
Hourly rates are set per person and per project, so the same hour can carry a different value depending on who worked it.
Goal tracking
A number with a date on it
Set sales and company goals — revenue, new customers, converted leads, invoiced volume — with a period and a progress reading.
Personal to-do list
Yours, and nobody else's
A private to-do list per person, not visible to anyone else.
Calendar
Everything with a date, in one view
Appointments, task due dates, milestones, contract expiries and invoice due dates in one view.
The calendar links to the other apps in the workspace. It does not sync with Google, Outlook or CalDAV.
What it does not do
So you know where you stand before the call, not during it.
- No calendar sync with Google, Outlook or CalDAV. The link works inside the workspace only.
