Shared address book for the workspace

Every contact of the business in one list, on every device

Shared address book for the workspace

Contacts is the address book of the workspace: one list with name, phone number including the dialling code, e-mail and postal address, and under each name the position and the company. Everyone in the workspace works from the same list, so a number is looked up once and not asked for three times.

A letter bar above the table jumps to a surname; letters without a contact are greyed out. The search field finds people by name, company or position. On the phone the table becomes a stack of cards, each with a Call and a Mail button, and the number that lives in the workspace is dialled from the pocket.

Key Benefits

1

One address book for the whole workspace, not one per phone

2

Position and company under the name, without opening the contact

3

A–Z bar that greys out letters with nobody behind them

4

On the phone: a card per contact with Call and Mail buttons

A–Z index

Jump to a surname, empty letters greyed out

A letter bar above the table filters the list by surname. The active letter is highlighted, letters without a contact are greyed out, and the bar wraps instead of scrolling.

A–Z index

Paging

25 per page, adjustable, with a counter

The list shows 25 contacts per page, adjustable, with a counter such as 1–15 of 15.

Address book on the phone

A card per contact with Call and Mail

Under 960 pixels each contact becomes a card: initials, name, position and company, the number, and beside it Call and Mail as buttons, with the rest in an overflow menu. A tap on the card opens the contact card; the A–Z bar wraps into three lines.

Address book on the phone

What it does not do

So you know where you stand before the call, not during it.

  • Search covers name, company and position, not addresses or e-mail, and runs on Enter
  • The A–Z bar filters by surname while the list sorts by first name
  • No CSV import or export; contacts are entered in the app

Use Cases

Who was the fleet manager at Petrov Logistics?

Type Manager into the search: four people with that word in their position, the right one among them.

Calling from the car park

Open the address book on the phone. Each contact is a card with a Call button; one tap dials the number the office entered.

The new colleague needs the supplier numbers

They are in the workspace already. Nothing to export, nothing to forward.
