Contact records: people, numbers, addresses
Several numbers, mails, websites and addresses per person
A contact is created on its own page with two sections: the person — photo, first and last name, company, position, birthday — and how to reach them: phone numbers, e-mail addresses, websites, postal addresses and a note. Each group has a labelled button to add another entry, so a person with a mobile, an office line and a fax is one record, not three.
Every number carries a type — mobile, home, work or fax — and a dialling code chosen from a type-ahead list, so the list shows +43 1 5570923 rather than a bare number. Without a photo the contact shows initials on a coloured background, which appear while you are still typing the name. The eye opens the contact card over the list; pencil and bin edit and delete, from the row or from the card.
Key Benefits
Several phone numbers, e-mails, websites and addresses on one contact
Phone type and international dialling code on every number
Photo up to 500 KB, or initials on colour for everyone without one
A contact card that shows everything without leaving the list
Several numbers, mails, websites, addresses
A labelled button adds the next one
Under each group a labelled button — Add phone number, Add email address, Add website, Add address — adds another entry, so one person with several ways to reach them stays one record.
Phone type and dialling code
Mobile, home, work or fax, with +43 in front
Every number carries a type — Mobile, Home, Work or Fax — and a dialling code chosen by typing into a list. The list shows the number as +43 1 5570923.
Photo or initials
Initials on colour for everyone without a photo
Add photo takes JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 500 KB. Without a photo the contact shows initials on a coloured background — for everyone, not a grey placeholder — and the initials appear in the form while the name is being typed.
Note on the contact
Free text, shown on the card
A free-text note on the contact, shown on the contact card.
The contact card
Everything about one person, over the list
The eye opens a card at the right over the softened list: initials, name, position and company, e-mail, numbers with their type, website, address and note. Delete and Edit sit at the bottom.
Edit and delete
Pencil and bin in the row and on the card
Pencil and bin sit in the row and on the contact card. Editing opens the same page as creating, and the button there says Update.
Country
A list of every country
The address holds a country chosen from a list of all countries. The list has no type-ahead, so it is scrolled rather than typed.
What it does not do
So you know where you stand before the call, not during it.
- The country field is a plain list without type-ahead
- No custom fields; a contact has person, reach-me details and a note
- No pipeline, no deals, no tasks on a contact: that is the CRM Business Hub
Use Cases
The supplier with three numbers
Mobile, work and fax on one record, each with its type. The list shows the first, the card shows all.
A customer abroad
Pick the dialling code by typing +43, choose the country from the list, and the number is stored in a form the phone can dial.
The note that saves the next call
Prefers e-mail before noon, invoices go to the office address. On the contact, visible on the card.
