Layouts & Active Speaker
Four layout modes, smart active-speaker prioritisation and overflow handling for big meetings.
Different meetings need different views. Meeting Hub offers four layouts you can switch anytime: Auto (intelligent default), Tile (grid of all participants), Spotlight (focus on one person), Sidebar (focus + small participant strip).
The active speaker is highlighted automatically. In large meetings, a "+N" tile collapses additional participants and opens the full list when clicked — so a 30-person meeting still fits on screen without becoming unreadable.
Key Benefits
Four layouts: Auto, Tile, Spotlight, Sidebar — switch live
Automatic active-speaker prioritisation
"+N" overflow tile for big meetings
Layouts persist per-user across joins
Use Cases
1-on-1 sales calls
Spotlight layout puts the other person centre-screen — feels less robotic than a 2-tile grid.
Workshops (10-30 people)
Auto layout balances active speakers and "+N" overflow tiles so the screen stays readable.
Team standups
Tile layout shows everyone equally — perfect for round-robin check-ins.
