Cards, Checklists & Attachments

Everything about a task lives in one place

Open any card to see and edit everything about that task. A markdown description, a status row with assignees, labels and dates, tabs for activity / checklist / attachments / custom fields / cross-app links / dependencies, an AI panel and a comments thread — all in one modal.

Checklists give you sub-steps that don't deserve their own card. Attachments live on the card itself with image previews and a 25 MB per-file limit. Comments support @mentions to pull in any workspace member, with deduplicated notifications so nobody gets spammed by their own actions.

Key Benefits

1

Markdown descriptions, checklist progress badges, attachment thumbnails, comment counts — visible on the card face at a glance.

2

Drag and drop attachments anywhere on the card modal. Set any image as the card cover.

3

@mentions notify only the people you mean — the author is never notified about their own comment.

4

Quick-counters (💬 comments, ☑ checklist, 📎 attachments) appear on the card face only when there's something to count.

Use Cases

Bug tickets

Steps to reproduce in the description, screenshots as attachments, checklist of repro environments to test against. The card face shows progress without opening the modal.

Feature work

Acceptance criteria in the description, spec PDF as an attachment, sub-tasks as checklist items. Cover image is the wireframe so everyone scanning the board sees what it's about.

Customer issues

A linked CRM lead (cross-app), the customer's email thread as attachments, a checklist for the resolution steps. Comments and @mentions pull in the right people without leaving Task Hub.
