Kitchen Tickets (KOT)
Orders route to the right station the moment the waiter sends them — with colour-coded ageing.
The Kitchen Order Ticket (KOT) display is the head chef's real-time view of the entire shift. Orders appear the moment the waiter sends them, grouped by station — cold kitchen, hot kitchen, bar, dessert. Tickets age with colour-coded timers, so anyone walking past the screen can see what is on time, what is at risk and what is late.
Cooks tap to mark a course "ready", which pings the waiter on their floor tablet — no more shouting across the pass. Mark a course prepared, served and paid, all from the same screen. The flow keeps the kitchen and the floor in lockstep on busy shifts.
Key Benefits
Per-station routing — cold, hot, bar, dessert — automatically
Colour-coded ticket ageing so slips are obvious at a glance
"Course ready" pings the waiter on their floor tablet — no shouting
Audit trail of every ticket: sent, started, ready, served, paid
Use Cases
Multi-station kitchen
A 4-station kitchen (grill, pasta, salad, dessert) with each station running its own KOT screen — the head chef's overview screen shows all four.
Tight-space dark kitchen
A single KOT screen on the wall, every order from every channel (dine-in, delivery, takeaway) routed onto the same flow.
High-volume bar
A dedicated bar KOT screen routes drinks straight to the bartender, separate from food courses — drinks ship while the kitchen cooks.
