Cash Register & Shifts
Open and close shift with a cash count. Z-reports, X-reports, per-cashier accountability.
Every shift begins with a cash count and ends with one. Z-reports and X-reports come out of the system automatically — sales by category, by tender type, by waiter, by hour. Each cashier is accountable for the float they opened and the float they closed.
The cash drawer opens via the printer for compatibility with standard hardware. Refunds are tracked. Voided items leave an audit trail. End-of-day reconciliation is a 30-second click, not a 30-minute paper exercise.

Use Cases
Single-till café
One cashier opens the till at 7am, closes at 4pm. Z-report goes to the owner's inbox automatically.
Multi-shift restaurant
Lunch shift opens and closes its float separately from dinner. Each shift's Z-report sits next to the other in the owner's end-of-day report.
High-turnover bar
Three bartenders rotate through the night, each opening and closing their own float — full accountability for cash variance.
